Fresh veggies from the garden were a treat! Matera's historic layers were fascinating. Loved the Materan breakfast with gluten-free options. Privacy and relaxation with gazebo option. The furniture blended beautifully with the surroundings. WiFi was a lifesaver.
Oh, how disappointing that scuba diving wasn't available in the wheat fields! So unfortunate.

The decor of the hotel was exquisite, with a charming combination of traditional and modern elements. The common areas were beautifully maintained, making it a joy to sit and relax. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with wide hallways and staircases that were easy to navigate. It truly felt like a home away from home!
Just one small thing - it would have been nice to have more grab bars in the bathroom for senior guests.

The owners were super cool and always there to help us out. They gave us a map and told us all the rad places to check out in Matera, like this sick horseback riding adventure and this lit nightlife spot. The farmhouse was in a dope location, with easy access to all the sick things Matera has to offer. And, yo, the breakfast was gnarly, with legit local food that filled us up for the day. We were stoked and had the time of our lives!
The only thing we wished for was an on-site party zone for young peeps like us. We love to kick it and have fun, and it would have been dope to have a cool hangout spot right at the farmstay.

The hotel offered parking on-premises, which was very convenient. I also appreciated that pets were allowed, as I was traveling with my furry friend. The clean and quiet neighborhood added to the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. the staff provided useful information about nearby attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
The drive to the hotel took longer than expected due to traffic in the town. The road leading to the hotel was unpaved and uneven, which made it a bit difficult to navigate.

My stay at Agriturismo Nonna Rosa was exceptional. The hospitality of the owners was outstanding, making me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my visit. The facility is new and well-maintained, and my room was spotlessly clean. Despite a couple of minor issues with the breakfast selection and the bed comfort, I would definitely recommend this lovely agriturismo for a delightful stay. I had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location is quite isolated, with some abandoned buildings nearby, but once you arrive at the entrance, you are greeted by an avenue of palm trees and green grass. the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is excellent, made from local ingredients.
The bed was not a double, but two beds connected together with a very bad mattress.
